Ashurst boosts Australian projects team

Law firm Ashurst has appointed two new partners to its Australian projects practices.

Larissa Toozoff has been promoted to partner in the firm’s Canberra office, while Jane Hall has also made partner in Melbourne.

Toozoff is an experienced commercial lawyer, primarily advising the Australian government and its entities on their procurement and outsourcing activities, with a focus on front end construction and infrastructure projects.

Hall delivers infrastructure and energy and utility projects involving a range of environmental, planning, heritage and water issues and regulatory approvals.

Ashurst has also promoted Andrew Smith to partner in its New York office. Smith focuses on energy, transport and infrastructure projects, particularly P3 and project finance.
