Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, the north Indian state’s public health engineering department, has released a request for qualification (RFQ) to deliver multiple sewage plants under a design, build, finance, operate and transfer model.
Under the plans three sewage treatment plants will be delivered in the region, as well as three plumbing stations, over 16km of sewer lining and other supporting infrastructure.
The winning bidder will operate and maintain the developments for 15 years, following a 21 month construction phase.
Responses are due 31 December 2020.
