Infrastructure consultancy Aecom has integrated its design & consulting services (DCS) business into “one global organisation” to be led by the firm’s president.
Lara Poloni will take direct control of the DCS division, resulting in Steve Morriss, Aecom’s group president of its DCS Americas business, stepping down with immediate effect – although he will remain available “in the near term” to provide a “seamless transition”.
“Our greatest opportunity is to fully capitalise on the expertise that is inherent across our organisation by thinking and acting as one global company – and in order to do that, we need to be structured as one,” said Aecom chief executive, Troy Rudd.
Poloni added: “Through one global organisation, we will drive even greater innovation and ensure we deliver for our clients by bringing the full strength of our expertise to bear on our projects.”
Separately, the firm has also announced that chief operating officer Randy Wotring is retiring but will continue to serve as a senior adviser to the company through to the end of the year.
