Amber boosts European team

The infra investment group has made three appointments to its origination team.

Joining the Munich team, Max Heilgemair, previously of UniCredit and MAEG MUCH ERGO, brings to Amber extensive transactional experience across multiple infrastructure sectors and regions of Europe.

Christian Roy joins Amber’s Prague office and will assist the firm’s investment advisor role in the flagship Three Seas initiative fund. Roy joins from PwC where he worked as a senior advisor on projects in central and eastern Europe (CEE) and internationally.

Joining from Rothchild & Co’s European infrastructure team, Jedrej Sanok adds to the firm's Warsaw offering, boosting its presence in the CEE region.

Amanda Woods, Amber’s chief investment officer, said: “Together they bring a depth of experience that will be central to Amber’s growth in existing and new markets.”

She added that the appointments will “will further enhance Amber’s pan-European operations, ahead of the exciting future developments in the group’s activity”.
