Legal advisors sought for local English projects

A contract notice has been issued to provide legal advisory services to authorities across north-west England on projects, procurement and infrastructure.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is procuring legal advisors on behalf of Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council, the lead authority of the NW Legal Consortium, an organisation of 49 members which entered into framework agreements with external solicitors for the provision of legal advice and support.

The authorities are now seeking firms to enter into a new framework agreement from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2024.

The latter also includes on state aid, competition law, telecommunications, information technology, digital infrastructure and communications, smart technology, construction contracts as well as construction adjudication and arbitration.
