Addleshaw Goddard hires infra partner

Addleshaw Goddard has appointed a new partner to its infrastructure, projects and energy practice in London.

Rory Connor has joined the law firm after five years at King & Spalding as a senior associate.

Richard Goodfellow, partner and head of the infrastructure, projects and energy group, said: "Rory has a rapidly growing reputation as a leading practitioner in the market and the knowledge to exploit markets we as a firm want to exploit.”

Having advised clients from the public and private sectors on project development, construction and finance transactions for nearly 10 years, Connor specialises in energy projects.

He has worked on deals across the UK, Africa and Asia as well as in countries from the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Connor served as in-house counsel at Veolia UK between 2006 and 2011, before joining DLA Piper as an associate in the finance and projects practice.

He moved to King & Spalding in 2014.
