Macquarie appoints new EMEA CEO

Macquarie Group has appointed a new CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Paul Plewman will replace David Fass as the new Macquarie Group CEO for EMEA on 1 April.

Fass will move on to Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) as a new co-head for the Americas alongside Graeme Conway following the transition period.

Plewman, who has worked at Macquarie for nearly 14 years, will become a member of the group’s management committee.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, Fass joined Macquarie in 2011 after more than 10 years at Deutsche Bank in London and seven years at JPMorgan Chase.
