The City of Lodz invited the following teams to take part in the negotiations for the Lodz multi-storey car parks PPP - Stage 2:
- Mota-Engil Central Europe;
- Budimex;
- City Parking Development Group;
- PPP Solutions Polska
The authority issued a contract notice in June for partners to design, build, finance, maintain and operate multi-storey car parks in the centre of the city.
A spokesperson for the city told Partnerships Bulletin that while negotiations for Stage 2 will begin this month, it received no bids for the Lodz multi-storey car parks PPP - Stage 1.
However, the source confirmed that Stage 2 covers the location of Stage 1 as well as additional locations.
Meanwhile, Ferrovial has confirmed to Partnerships Bulletin that there have been no decisions taken regarding divestment in the Services division and there is no date for a decision to be made. The Spanish conglomerate has engaged an external advisor to explore the possibility of divesting some or all of the assets in its Services division, which includes Amey.
