Broadspectrum appoints new CEO

Broadspectrum has appointed a new managing director and chief executive officer.

The Australian subsidiary of Ferrovial Services promoted Tom Quinn to the role, after two years at the company in Melbourne as chief executive for resources.

Quinn’s appointment comes just over a month after Nick Miller, whom Broadspectrum selected as managing director and CEO in February this year, was appointed as CEO by Adelaide Brighton starting no later than 17 April 2019.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Quinn served as director of operations and project leader at Fluor between 1987 and 2001 in Australia, China and the US, before moving on to Aker Solutions as managing director in Australia between 2002 and 2010.

Quinn has also worked as group vice president for the Asia Pacific and North American upstream and midstream businesses at Jacobs between 2008 and 2016.
