The infrastructure consultancy group chose Fred Maroudas, former head of rail and airports at the IPA, as its new chairman.
With 25 years of experience in infrastructure as well as PPPs, Maroudas served at the IPA from January 2015 until December 2017 and has been director of treasury at Network Rail from January 2002 until June 2009.
Agilia’s CFO Mike Pugsley said: “Fred joins us at a time of exciting growth for our company, being active in developing new models and delivering projects across the transport, energy and water sectors.”
Maroudas also worked as finance director at BAA/Heathrow and CFO at Eversholt Rail.
Meanwhile, Agilia also appointed Mike Gerrard as a senior advisor.
Former managing director of Thames Tideway Tunnel, Gerrard has 40 years of infrastructure experience and has recently worked on an independent review of Crossrail 2.
