Consultants sought for Tanzania PPP portals

The World Bank has issued a request for expressions of interest for consultants to develop PPP websites in Tanzania.

Advisors will deliver three individual websites for the PPP Node, the PPP Centre and Zanzibar PPP Unit, as Tanzania seeks to provide the public with comprehensive platforms to accelerate the adoption of the PPP model.

The portals will allow members of the public to send queries and get feedback from relevant PPP units, access a calendar of PPP events, consult details on the country’s PPP pipeline and legislation as well as training material.

The World Bank intends to finance the six-month assignment.

Consultants have until 15 November to express interest.

Tanzania is cooperating with the World Bank to attract private finance for sub-sovereign PPPs and the UK’s Department for International Development has already committed £20m to the Tanzania PPP Support Programme.
