Hanover tenders another education PPP

The City of Hanover in Germany has issued a contract notice for a school PPP.

The authority is seeking partners to design, build, finance and maintain a primary school with a two-field sports hall.

Under the contract, the partner will deliver the Buchholz-Kleefeld II School in Paracelsusweg across 2,643sq m, with the two-field sports hall to be located on a surface of 1,311sq m.

The authority expects the contract to run from 27 February 2020 to 22 April 2042.

Interested parties have until 7 November to submit responses.

The project is scheduled to begin operations in late 2021.

The tender comes just days after the city launched a PPP scheme to deliver three kindergartens.
