The firm has appointed Simon Allan as a consultant in its real estate team. With over 30 years’ experience, Allan acted for private sector developers, investors and funders as well as central government on a range of major projects.
Among the urban regeneration projects that Allan has worked on are the 2012 Olympics, Greenwich Peninsula and the O2 Centre.
Penningtons Manches has also brought in Tim Johnson to its real estate team, a planning law specialist who joins from Shoosmiths, with particular expertise in large-scale strategic development projects.
Meanwhile, associates Sarah Jordan, Giorgia Clements and Fiona Mills also join the division and are based in the firm’s Guildford, Cambridge and London offices respectively.
