Partners sought for German kindergartens

A city in Germany has issued a contract notice for three kindergartens to be delivered under a PPP model.

The City of Hanover is seeking partners to design, build, finance and maintain the three kindergartens in the Davenstedt, Badenstedt and Kleefeld districts.

Under the plans, a partner will demolish two existing structures and deliver three 945sq m complexes in Steinbreite, Petermannstraße and Strelitzer Weg.

The structures, to be operational in mid-2021, will accommodate 100 children each.

The authority expects the contract to run from 2 March 2020 until 23 December 2041.

Interested parties have until 30 October to submit responses.

The city procured a separate kindergarten PPP in mid-August.
