Paris launches concessions

The city of Paris has issued concession notices for a renovation project and a CNG initiative.

The authority is seeking a partner to finance the renovation, maintenance and operation of four buildings in the Parc de Bagatelle du Bois de Boulogne site.

Under the €140m contract, the winner will deliver external improvements and conduct works on the electrical systems of all buildings on the botanical site, hosting restaurants and event spaces.

The authority will not take part in the financing of the project, whose ownership will revert to the city at the end of the 20-year contract.

Interested parties have until 18 June to submit responses.

Meanwhile, the city is also seeking a partner to design, build, finance and operate CNG terminals at two service stations in Porte d'Aubervilliers.

Under the €52m 10-year contract, the concessionaire will deliver the terminals with a fuelling capacity of 100-180 vehicles per day.

Firms have until 15 June to submit responses.

The authority will not take part in the financing of the project.
