DIF hires new director

The Dutch Infrastructure Fund (DIF) has hired a new director in the origination team.

Neil Marvell joins the investor after five years with Japan's Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in London.

Marvell is a director in the origination team focusing on investments in all target sectors in PPP/ regulated assets/ telecom/ rail /unregulated energy assets/ renewable energy and mainly focusing on the UK and Ireland. He is based the London office.

He was a director at SMBC responsible for the origination, structuring, negotiation and execution of project, acquisition and corporate financings in the transport and infrastructure sectors.

DIF is a member of a consortium shortlisted for Queensland’s Cross River Rail PPP project last month.
