Final bids on Bordeaux stadium

Final bids for the new €165m sports stadium in Bordeaux, south of France, have been submitted.

SNC Lavalin-Barclays along with Eiffage construction; DV Construction (Bouygues Group), Lloyds with Quille & CDC; and Vinci Concession, Vinci Construction & Fayat have all progressed to final stage.

The contract is to design and build the new 43,000 ticket stadium for the Euro 2016 over the next four years.

The winning bidder will have 30 years operation and maintenance of the stadium, after which it will be handed over to the city of Bordeaux.
