Dutch court selects three bidders

Three teams have been shortlisted for the Dutch Supreme Court PPP in the Hague.

The scheme involves the design, building, decorating and partial provision of facility services, maintenance and financing of the new courthouse for the Hoge Raad der Nederlanden upon completion for 30 years.

Five participants were selected by the Government Buildings Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Security and Justice in the selection phase to participate in the dialogue of the project. Based on project visions in the first phase of dialogue, three participants were selected:

  • Hage Council: Brink Management & Consultancy, LIPS Development Acquisitions, Wiel Arets Architects, H & R Construction;
  • PPP Heijmans: Heijmans PPP in collaboration with architect Mecanoo BV;
  • Gate of The Hague: BAM PPP, BAM Utiliteitsbouw, Netherlands BV ISS, Claus and Kaan Architects.

These teams will now move forward in the competitive dialogue process, which is expected to conclude in June next year. The contract will be awarded in November 2012.
