Quebec elderly care homes awarded

Infrastructure Quebec has announced preferred bidders for its elderly care home PPPs.

Three 66-bed health and social services centre (CSSS) schemes will be developed in Montérégie and one 100-bed scheme in Laval. The selected companies will build and operate facilities for 25 years.

In Montérégie, the CSSS Haut-Richelieu-Rouville was won by Nationax; the CSSS Haute-Yamaska by BPAL and Asselin; and the CSSS Jardins-Roussillon also by Nationax.

The Laval scheme was awarded to Nationax and AMMC Investments.

Infrastructure Quebec said it would not disclose the contract values before signing the final agreements in November.
