Scottish Hub reveals chief exec

The directors of Hub South East Scotland have announced the appointment of a new chief executive.

Paul McGirk has been unveiled as the joint venture development company’s first-ever chief executive, after serving as the director, since the company’s inception.

The promotion comes as Scotland’s infrastructure pipeline continues to grow and in view of the hub’s growing workload.

McGirk is a chartered civil engineer and has over 30 years experience at executive level across the public and private sectors.

Jo Elliot, chairman of Hub South East Scotland said McGirk’s appointment was "proof" of the venture’s commitment "to take forward the ambitious investment plans announced by government".
