Fiera Axium Infrastructure has opened its first US-based office after it initially closed its $200m North American Fund.
The company opened the New York office as it plans to use the fund to invest in US-based opportunities in greenfield developments covering transport, energy and social infrastructure. The North American Fund will serve as a feeder fund for two new investment vehicles in the US.
Heading up the New York office will be Paulo Arencibia, previously of BNP Paribas’s Infrastructure Project Finance team.
