Irish health PPP progressing

Ireland’s Minister for Health, James Reilly has confirmed the development of a new health PPP in West Ireland.

The Westport Primary Care Centre is part of Ireland’s overall PPP stimulus package that was announced last year and includes the development of 16 new health centres throughout the country through PPP.

Mr Reilly has confirmed that planning applications have been launched and that a site at Tubber Hill, adjacent to the Westport Greenway has been identified for the centre, one of approximately 16 to be developed nationally under the process.

Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring, said:"The acquisition of the site from Mayo County Council at Tubberhill is progressing and I welcome the progress on this matter. "
