Six shortlisted for Priority Schools aggregator

Six teams have been shortlisted by the Education Funding Agency (EFA) for the aggregator vehicle that will provide funding for its Priority School Building Programme.

The agency said a “large number” of submissions had been made by firms interested in the model, and the following six teams have now been shortlisted:

  • Allianz and Uberior (Abacus)
  • Amber and International Public Partnerships Limited
  • Barclays Infrastructure Fund, 3i and Blackrock
  • InfraRed and RBC
  • NIBC
  • Rock Infrastructure and RBS (Lyceum)
These bidders will now be invited to submit outline proposals, with the shortlist to be trimmed to three in November.

The EFA said it aims to choose its partner in mid-2014.
