Infrastructure Ontario and ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development have issued the RFP to shortlisted bidders the Peel-Halton Partnership, Kids Health Infrastructure Partnership and PCL Partnerships.
Following the request for qualifications for the design, build and finance deal, which was issued in January, the teams where shortlisted for the project in July.
As part of the proposals, the winning team will oversee the creation of three children’s treatment centres in Brampton, Mississauga and Oakville, all under one P3 deal.
Brampton, the largest facility, will be approximately 120,000 square feet, with the other two sites in Mississauga and Oakville, approximately 90,000 and 70,000 square feet respectively.
