Indiana launches RFI for parking P3

The state of Indiana is considering a P3 deal to redevelop and oversee parking facilities in downtown Indianapolis.

A request for information (RFI) has been issued by the Indiana Finance Authority seeking solutions for the potential deal with the private sector, which will include the construction of 625 more parking spaces in the city.

Proposals are now due by 15 November and will cover the plans for the development and management of all three state-owned facilities.

The sites currently contain 6,096 spaces and generate more than $1m-per-year from special events.
