Bilfinger announced in August that it was holding “concrete talks” with potential buyers of its concessions business.
Under the terms of the deal, Bilfinger will generate gross proceeds of €270m from the transfer of the portfolio, plus the sale of two additional contracts in Canada that were agreed by the firms earlier this year.
Bilfinger will still retain the M6 Duna and the M6 Tolna highways in Hungary as well as the A1 in Germany in its portfolio.
