Two in for Russian highway PPP

Two companies have submitted bids for the fourth section of the Moscow - St. Petersburg M11 Highway.

Russian firms Mostotrest and DSK Autobahn are the two companies that have applied for the project, which involves the construction, maintenance, repair, overhaul and maintenance of a new high-speed highway between Moscow - St. Petersburg.

The section of the highway will be built over three years and will be 47.91km. The new road will cross the territory of the Tver region, bypassing the town of Torzhok in the Kalinin and Torzhok areas. It will correspond to the category IA, which means traffic on the highway will have an estimated speed of 150km/h.

This fourth phase of the highway was launched in September, alongside the Moscow Central Ring Road and the M-3 Ukraine.
