Two in for Philippines Southwest Terminal

Just two teams have submitted proposals for the Philippines’ Integrated Transport System – Southwest Terminal PPP deal.

Filinvest Land and MWM Terminals (a Megawide-WM Property Management consortium) have submitted their qualification documents for evaluation by the Department of Transportation and Communications.

However, 14 other companies that bought bid documents decided not to tender for the scheme.

Under the $55m proposals, the winning bidder will deliver a new terminal connecting passengers coming from the Cavite side to other transport systems such as the future LRT Line 1 South Extension, city bus, taxi, and other public utility vehicles that are serving inner Metro Manila.

According to the current timeline, notification will be given on the result of the evaluation of bids in January 2015 for the opening of the technical bid.
