Two remain for Amsterdam court PPP

The Dutch government has shortlisted two teams to design, build, finance, maintain and operate a new court building in Amsterdam

Public buildings agency Rijksvastgoedbedrijf has invited the iDO2 and NACH (New Amsterdam Court House) consortia to participate in the last dialogue phase of the new Amsterdam district court PPP.  A spokesperson told Partnerships Bulletin that the dialogue will start in November with a winner expected to selected in May 2016.

As a result the TBI/International Public Partnership led team which included Sodexo and  JP van Eesteren has been eliminated from the contest after being shortlisted in April.

iDO2 is led by VolkerWessels and includes Visser & Smit Bouw, de Architekten Cie and Felix Claus, Sevil Peach Gence Associates Limited and PCH Holding BV. NACH is led by Macquarie Capital and includes M.J. de Nijs PPS, Heijmans, DVP, ABT Velp, Kaan Architecten and Facilicom.

In October 2014 five consortia qualified to participate in the procurement including teams led by Ballast Nedam and Meridiam.

A consortium consisting of VolkerWessels, Facilicom, de Architekten Cie and Macquarie Capital was awarded the Breda courthouse PPP by Rijksvastgoedbedrijf earlier this year.
