Ireland transport authority selects adviser

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) has awarded a contract for financial consultancy services including PPPs.

KPMG has won both lots tendered by the then National Roads Authority in February.

Lot 1 covers the provision of financial management services to the authority, relating to commercial operations, including eFlow (the M50), Dublin Tunnel, Motorway Service Areas and PPP tolling schemes (of which there are currently eight).

Lot 2 covers the provision of general financial, audit and advisory services to the authority. These services may include PPP contract administration and toll operations advisory services as well as audits and HR.

TII received two offers for each lot, with the first valued at €2m and the latter worth €7m. The mandate is for three years with the option of a one year extension.

As previously reported TII has awarded McCann Fitzgerald a Corporate Legal Services Framework Agreement contract. The three-year, single-operator framework for legal advisory services includes PPP and non-PPP procurement.
