The Philippines Department of Energy is planning to introduce the Competitive Selection Process (CSP), which will mandate distributors to auction off long-term power supply agreements to achieve adequate and stable supply while allowing competition and price discovery.
IFC’s PPP team is discussing an advisory engagement to assist the department in designing, structuring, and implementing the CSP.
The IFC is hiring a team of technical and legal consultants for the project, with both reporting to the IFC task team leaders.
Expressions of interest are due by 3 January.
The assignment is financed by an IFC PPP fund established by the Rockefeller Foundation.
