Ferga Kane is to join the team in July. Kane is a director with Deloitte Ireland, leading the infrastructure & capital projects group.
Kane is the latest in a series of recent hires as EY expands its practice in Ireland, including Shane MacSweeney (partner), Conor Gunn, Anthony Rourke (both directors) and Julia Ann Corkery (manager).
MacSweeney was appointed head of government & infrastructure, and was previously with KPMG. Gunn joined in May from Messam Consulting, and was previously with the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) for 11 years. Rourke has joined from Bank of Ireland, while Corkery joins from Blackrock and was also previously with the NDFA.
MacSweeney said: “Ireland is at a critical economic cross-roads with Brexit, wider geopolitics and technological disruption. However, there is a real opportunity for the economy to make significant advances during these uncertain and complex times and as such, our team is advising public and private clients across the island of Ireland on key issues that will support growth and economic prosperity.”
