French mixed-use development launched

A French town has issued a concession notice for a mixed-use development.

Commune de Chanceaux-sur-Choisille, just north of the city of Tours in central France, is looking for a partner to plan, finance and deliver the Secteur Nord development under a 10-year concession.

The winner will bear the economic risk of the entire operation, conducting technical and geological studies as well as management works to deliver a total of 200 buildings, with 25% for social housing.

The development will need to have a density of at least 30 buildings per hectare.

Interested parties have until 4pm on 4 December to submit responses.

The city of Nimes issued a concession notice in August for another mixed-use development.
