Lenders have finally reached the deal on the Bursa healthcare project, which will see the creation of a 1,055-bed main hospital, 200-bed physical therapy and rehabilitation facility and 100-bed high-security psychiatric unit.
Project sponsors on the deal are Ronesans Sağlık Yatırım and Meridam Infrastructure, while Mott MacDonald acted as lenders’ technical and environmental adviser on the scheme.
Debt on the deal was provided by Commercial Bank of China Limited, the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Deutsche Investitions Und Entwicklungsgesellschaft, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Kommunalkredit Austria, Société de Promotion et de Participation Pour la Coopération Économique, Siemens Bank, SMBC, and the European Investment Bank.
Ronesans chair Kamil Yanikomeroglu told Reuters in December last year that he expected the Bursa deal to sign in the first few months of 2017.
