Project teams on the UNECE Standard on PPPs in Rails and Roads have released drafts of the standards for PPPs that will go into public review.
Designed to spread the adoption of best international practices, the standard review is meant to support governments in exploiting the PPP model to achieve sustainable development and 'people first' goals in PPP projects.
The organisation expects the public review phase to last until mid-February.
Interested parties can submit comments to ppp@unece.org.
