Belgian housing PPP launched

A local authority in north-west Belgium has issued a contract notice for a housing PPP.

OCMW Lede is looking for partners to design, build and finance a group of assisted-living apartments in the town of Lede, between Brussels and Ghent.

Works involve the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of 48 new apartments.

The 7,133sq m site currently hosts the Villa Letha former residential care centre.

Interested parties have until 2pm on 9 January to submit responses.

Meanwhile, CPAs Middelkerke is evaluating tenders from two teams for a care home project, for which it should announce a preferred bidder around mid-December.
