Advisers sought for south-east Europe airport PPP

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has issued a request for expressions of interest for consultants for an airport PPP scheme in south-eastern Europe.

The IFC is seeking legal advisers for its team to cooperate with an as-yet undisclosed government in the region to structure one or more airport PPPs.

Under the plans, the private sector will design, expand, finance, operate and maintain the proposed project.

Consultants will conduct due diligence, assist with the development of the transaction structure, draft tender documents and provide support to the IFC-led team during tender procedures.

Advisers have until 7 December to express interest.

The IFC has already sought technical advisers for the same scheme and, earlier in September, it requested interest to structure an airport concession in Bulgaria.
