CEB seeks PPP expert

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is seeking a legal counsel with PPP experience.

Based in the Office of the General Counsel, the expert will provide legal advice on a wide range of transactions in connection with the bank's project financing activity.

Priority will be given to candidates with practical experience in the legal structuring of development projects, in particular PFI/PPP.

Applications are due by 20 December.

Last week, the Paris-based multilateral approved €85m to support social projects in Ireland. The loan will contribute to Limerick’s cross-cutting social development strategy ‘Limerick 2030’, which is aimed at the regeneration and development key sites of the city.

The Opera site development project, which is co-financed by the CEB and the European Investment Bank, with €85m from each institution, has an estimated total cost of over €200m.
