London housing scheme launched

A council in London has issued a contract notice for a multi-lot housing scheme.

Surrey County Council is seeking a partner to design, build, finance and operate extra care housing under five lots.

With a total value £26.7m, the framework will run for 10 years.

The winner of the first lot, estimated at £4.9m, will deliver 43 units at the Pinehurst Resource Centre site in Camberley.

Lot 2 includes the delivery of 60 units at the Bagshot Depot and Archaeology Centre in Bagshot for £6.9m.

Colebrook, Redhill, Reigate and Banstead will host 35 new units as part of lot 3, valued at £4.1m.

The fourth site is the Former Pond Meadow School in Guildford, where the winner will deliver 45 units for £5.2m.

The final lot, worth £5.6m, will see 49 units at Ten Acre Walk, Farnham, Waverley.

Interested parties have until midday on 22 January to submit responses.
