Those that have committed to the fund include a range of pension funds, as well as the European Investment Bank. Infranode’s investor base is comprised of pension funds such as the Fourth AP Fund, Folksam, KPA Pension and Finnish insurer LähiTapiola.
The new fund, which was oversubscribed, will invest the money in Nordic infrastructure.
"In the Nordic region, there is a significant investment need in infrastructure that is expected to exceed €200bn over the next 10 years,” said Christian Doglia, a founding partner at Infranode.
“Our desire is to contribute to a more sustainable and stronger society in the Nordics through long-term investments in essential infrastructure.”
In June, Infranode made its first acquisition in the Norwegian market.
