Consultants sought for Ethiopia PPP scoping mission

The World Bank has issued a request for expressions of interest for consultants to scope PPPs across various sectors in Ethiopia.

Advisers will work with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation to review PPP legislation and formulate guidelines to unearth opportunities in the energy, transport and industrial park sectors.

The team will also draft sector-specific guidelines, host workshops and prepare a final report.

The World Bank intends to finance the assignment.

Consultants have until 19 December to express interest.

Earlier this year, Ethiopia’s finance minister suggested the country was looking at the PPP model to deliver new road building and maintenance projects.
