Stefan Rose joins the Swiss bank’s real estate & private markets (REPM) business from Edmond de Rothschild, where he was part of the team responsible for the infrastructure debt platform. Before this, Rose worked in the infrastructure & PFI/PPP team at Mizuho Bank for 14 years, covering the EMEA region.
Based in London, he will be responsible for working on the origination, analysis, due diligence and execution of investment opportunities across Europe, reporting to Tommaso Albanese, head of infrastructure.
REPM is a $4bn infrastructure platform which invests in both equity and debt with a team of over 30.
Albanese said: “The appointment of Stefan further enhances both the depth of expertise and the reach of our team, as we continue to develop REPM’s infrastructure platform. On account of the secure and long-term income that infrastructure investments provide, institutional appetite for access to this asset class is continuing in an upward trajectory.”
In October, Thibault Contat Desfontaines and Borja de Luis de Blas joined REPM as directors, while Declan O’Brien has been hired as a senior analyst.
