According to local media, Mbabane Municipal Council has preliminarily accepted a proposal from JM Busha Capital Swaziland for the upgrading of the local bus terminal and the council has begun to draft the agreement.
Council chief executive Gideon Mhlongo said the council is now undertaking due diligence on the bid to make sure the company has the capacity and potential to carry out the job.
The project involves the upgrade of the terminal from its current location on a farm plot to a multi-storey facility with commercial uses.
According to the council completion of the new terminal is expected in December 2015.
