Interim chief for Windsor-Detroit Bridge

The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority has named an interim chief executive, following the resignation of the incumbent.

The organization has appointed André Juneau to the post, taking over from Michael Cautillo, who resigned from the position having been on personal leave since August.

Juneau had been appointed chief operating officer in October to take on the day-to-day running of the authority during Cautillo’s leave of absence.

“The Government of Canada is committed to building the new bridge, which will support economic growth by ensuring the continuous flow of people and goods between Canada and the US,” said Canada’s infrastructure minister, Amarjeet Sohi.

The Canadian government will now launch a selection process to find a candidate to fill the position on a permanent basis.
