Peterborough housing JV changes hands

The Peterborough Investment Partnership (PIP) has transferred its stake in a major regeneration joint venture to a local housing association.

Cross Keys Homes (CKH) has taken over the Northminster development in Peterborough, and will now be responsible for the delivery of 315 new homes on the site.

“CKH has the strong financial base, development experience, and connection to the community required to deliver this scheme and help hundreds of people find the homes they need to support their aspirations,” said Claire Higgins, CKH chief executive.

“We are delighted to select CKH to take Northminster forward,” said David Taylor, board member of PIP. “They share our vision for the scheme, commitment to the city and have an excellent track record of delivering quality homes that support our growing communities here in Peterborough.”

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority is part-funding the project, which will see contractor Willmott Dixon working with CKH to deliver the development.
