The Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) has hired Sara Humber as a projects director in its commercial advisory team.

She joins from the Welsh Government, where she helped lead the country’s usage of the mutual investment model (MIM) as a programme director on its 21st Century Schools and Colleges programme.

An industry stalwart, Humber also worked with the Education and Skills Funding Agency, leading on its £110m PF2 project to build 12 schools in the North West of England. Before entering public service, she worked at law firm Addleshaw Goddard.

Humber said she was “delighted” to join the authority.
