BDO hires PPP expert

Financial consultancy BDO has hired a new partner with experience in the PPP sector into its project & infrastructure advisory team in Sydney, Australia.

Steven Kastanias has joined from project management specialist TSA Management, where he was a consultant in the infrastructure business.

Previously, Kastanias has worked for the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance, leading and sponsoring multiple PPPs on behalf of the Victorian government as part of the Partnerships Victoria team.

He has worked on a variety of major PPP deals, including the New Royal Adelaide Hospital, High Capacity Metropolitan Trains, and Inland Rail. He has also worked for EY and Leighton Contractors (now Pacific Partnerships).

“Steven brings specific experience in major project capital structuring, procurement, divestment, sole-sourcing and public-private partnerships,” said BDO.
