The Government of Jamaica is ramping up preperation on its $800m road widening P3 bundle covering three routes.
The nearly 60km project will see the three roads widened from two to four lanes, featuring multiple intersections, bridges and turn lanes.
Improving the stretches will be “critical” to improving access to tourist hubs such as Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
Having enlisted the IFC and the World Bank to prepare the projects earlier this year, the multilaterals are looking for technical advisors to assist on the project’s preparations.
Responses are due October 11, 2022. The tender can be found at the World Bank’s eConsult2 site.
