The college will enter into a strategic partnership with Gilbane to develop the Ohlone Community College District, which will deliver housing for 3-400 students, in both single student and family configurations.
As well as the new housing, a number of other features are being considered for the site, including a childcare center for student parents, to be operated by a third-party service provider; options for accessibility of food in proximity to the community; and student counseling services.

Construction is expected to begin prior to the Fall of 2023, allowing for student occupancy by July 2025.
