Chile, UAE link up on infra

The Chilean and Emirati Ministries of Energy and Infrastructure have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to drive infrastructure development.

Under the plans, the ministries will foster greater collaboration and exchanges to drive more investment into the countries’ energy and infrastructure sectors, including launching initiatives to support P3s.

The MoU will also target the implementation of projects in accordance with the Paris Climate Agreement.

Sharif Al Olama, under-secretary for energy and petroleum affairs for the UAE, said: “The partnerships support the transition to clean and renewable energy.”
